Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Banner Health, you will perform all basic modalities of respiratory care, apply and manage mechanical ventilators, conduct pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing, and document therapy provided. This role requires a minimum of an associate degree, current RRT certification, and a BLS certification. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months. The position is full-time, requiring 36 hours a week on night shifts, with weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- A current license in state practiced as required by state law
- Banner Registry positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Must possess highly effective human relation skills necessary to interface with patients, families, staff and other healthcare personnel

- Additional related education and/or experience preferred

- Employees working for Banner Home Care AZ must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment
