Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist sought to independently provide respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing in a full-time night-shift role at Banner Health in Tucson. Responsibilities include performing basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed, managing mechanical ventilators, assembling and maintaining respiratory equipment, conducting pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic tests, assessing patients and communicating care plans, and potentially supervising department staff. Requires an associate/technical degree, NBRC RRT certification, current licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute-care experience. Night differential and a weekend differential apply; position supports care across multiple units within Banner Health’s affiliated facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical degree in respiratory care
- Proof of passing NBRC as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current state license (as required by state law)
- BLS required
- Driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance (if in Home Care)
- Possess knowledge of clinical techniques and equipment
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (for Banner Home Care AZ)
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care hospital setting (as RRT)
