Job Summary
Conduct Pulmonary Function tests in an outpatient Ball Hospital Pulmonary Office. PRN, weekdays, no weekends, nights or holidays. Work collaboratively with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to support patient care. Requires current Indiana license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, graduation from a CoARC-accredited program, and NBRC registry exam within 6 months of hire. Healthcare Provider Certification required. Strong customer service and communication skills, and ability to handle confidential patient information; basic EMR and computer skills. Required Qualifications
- Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Indiana
- Graduation from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program
- NBRC registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire (6-month rule exceptions as noted)
- Healthcare Provider Certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient information
- Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency
- Preferred: ACLS; PALS; and/or NRP certifications
