Job Summary
Advanced RRT provides advanced-level respiratory care to patients, performs respiratory procedures and assessments, communicates care plans to physicians and families, mentors CRT staff, participates in clinical program initiatives, maintains documentation, may float to other departments, and may be placed on-call. Requires NBRC-approved program graduate, RRT registration, state license, BLS, and required certifications; evening/night/weekend shift differentials apply; position located at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Current license for Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Specific certifications as required (e.g. PALS, ACLS, NRP)
