Job Summary
Registered Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies (including portables, fluoroscopy and OR cases), ensuring patient identification and correct protocol selection, documenting in HIS/RIS/PACS/Envision, assisting radiologists in fluoroscopy procedures, applying ALARA principles, managing contrast media and reactions, maintaining a clean safe workflow, handling front desk and transporter duties as needed, maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate volume, orienting new staff, training radiography students, and participating in PI projects and other duties as assigned. Frontline radiology duties combined with patient care, safety and documentation in a faith-based hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography
- ARRT (RT)
- State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 2 years radiography experience preferred
