Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in the x-ray, operating room, and emergency departments under direct supervision. Administer contrast agents per guidelines, document reactions, and ensure accurate computer entry for billing and patient tracking. Select technical factors and positioning to optimize imaging while maintaining patient and personal radiation protection using ALARA principles. Transport patients as needed and utilize immobilization devices to prevent motion. Complete timely exam status changes, billing corrections, and time entries. Requires Florida State DOH licensure, ARRT registration, and BCLS certification. Schedule includes Friday through Monday from 7am to 5:30pm with 40 standard hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree, ADN or other Two Year College equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience
- Florida State DOH Licensed
- ARRT Registered RT(R)
- BCLS through the American Heart Association
