Job Summary
Radiology Technologists perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures; operate x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation; ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams; educate patients about procedures and equipment; acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS; maintain documentation; assist with scheduling, monitor patient priority, and support billing and equipment troubleshooting as needed. The role may involve imaging techniques such as bone densitometry, cardiovascular-interventional radiography, CT, mammography, MRI and nuclear medicine, with a focus on minimizing radiation dose while delivering accurate results. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to 2,500; requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT credentialing, active state licensure, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
