Job Summary
Radiology Technologists perform general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation. They operate x-ray equipment, ensure patient positioning and safety, and manage image acquisition, archiving, and printing via PACS. They educate patients about procedures and equipment, assist with scheduling and determining priority, and maintain proper documentation and reporting of equipment issues. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, ability to assist with lifting patients, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $2,500; location at Mercy Hospital in Canton as part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System.,
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T.(R)) and in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
