Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing interventions and administration of treatments, while coordinating patient care and discharge. Lead within the healthcare team, and support continuity of care in the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Requires an RN or RPN credential with active Manitoba registration, CPR certification, and knowledge of PHIA, WHMIS, and the Mental Health Act. Strong communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and ability to adapt in a demanding hospital setting are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program
- Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- CPR training as per Employer policy
- Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) and other background checks as conditions of employment
