Registered Professional Nurse III, Medical

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including medication administration, treatments, and discharge teaching. Monitor and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments. Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments to ensure continuity and quality. Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, medications, treatments, and follow-up care. Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment while adhering to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Serve as a team leader or Charge Nurse as assigned, assisting with staffing coordination, delegation of duties, and mentoring team members. Requires valid State of Hawaii RN licensure, BLS certification within one month, and one-half year of professional nursing experience.
