Job Summary
Senior Registered Professional Land Surveyor to oversee project management, coordinate field crews and survey technicians, perform data processing, prepare boundary and topographic surveys, manage multiple projects, ensure compliance with Professional Land Surveying Practices Act, and provide technical guidance to project teams, on-site representatives, and survey contractors. Responsible for writings/descriptions of land to satisfy legal requirements and for client relations and overall survey deliverables. Qualifications include a Technical Bachelor's Degree, Texas RPLS license, experience with boundary/topo surveys, ALTA/ACS(NSPS) surveys, AutoCAD/C Carlson software, and strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Bachelor's Degree
- Must possess current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License
- Experience with Boundary/Topo, construction calculations, preparation of right-of-way acquisitions and easements, ALTA/ACSM (NSPS) Land Title Surveys, and AutoCAD/Carlson software
- TxDOT and/or municipal experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Ability to independently manage a team
- Understanding of and ability to support engineering services
- Works collaboratively with other departments
- Provides innovative geospatial solutions in support of engineering deliverables
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be hands-on
- Ability to summarize project statuses and present effective management reports
- Ability to plan and execute multiple project tasks
