Job Summary
Oversee and manage survey technicians; perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews; conduct detailed research at town, county, and state levels; evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, and aerial photographs to identify project constraints and determine best approaches to complete projects on time and within budget; perform calculations of quantities and volumes; coordinate with crew chiefs and operations team for status updates and plan revisions; collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and the operations team to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required
- Field and office experience in land surveying is essential
- Attention to detail is a must
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of managing survey crews
- Ability to work remotely
- Self-motivation, drive, and the ability to work with the company remotely
- Proficiency with Quickbase to log job statuses is a plus
