Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Lead land surveying projects across multiple sites, supervise field crews, ensure data collection accuracy, and prepare survey reports and maps for engineering, construction, and land development. Manage project planning, boundary, boundary/resolution and topographic surveys, and as-built surveys; provide technical guidance and mentorship to field teams; interpret survey data, records, and legal documents; prepare and review drawings, plats, and legal descriptions; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Use surveying instruments and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Leica Infinity) and collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and construction teams. Maintain thorough survey records, perform QC checks, support proposal preparation and project estimation; require Montana PLS license, 7–10 years of experience, leadership and communication skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.
