Job Summary
Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and resident plans of care. Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care while creating a welcoming environment through effective communication with staff. Oversee resident care, including regular communication with families, and supervise Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members assigned to the unit. Manage admissions, readmissions, and status changes while providing ongoing assessments. Maintain good judgment to identify risks and foster a positive work environment. Required Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing the Ontario College of Nurses
- Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
- Successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province

- Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and/or senior health industry
