Job Summary
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with Ontario college diploma provides care in a Transitional Care Unit under the direction of the facility charge nurse or RN. Adheres to College of Nurses of Ontario standards and Carecor standards to promote patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being. Each assignment involves a full 8-hour shift in a single facility. Casual, with flexible shifts and onsite work in Oshawa, ON. Required Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
- Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario
- Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a Medical-Surgical, Long-Term Care, or Transitional Care setting within the past two years
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
- Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination prior to start date
