Job Summary
Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, and the resident plan of care as an RPN/LPN; ensure delivery of high-quality nursing and personal care; supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated care team; oversee admissions/readmissions/change in status with ongoing resident assessment; maintain effective communication with residents and families; contribute to a welcoming, collaborative environment and uphold the standards of the Ontario College of Nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation and/or senior health industry (asset)
- Ability to supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated care team members
- Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the province of Ontario
