Job Summary
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) providing visiting/home-based nursing care in Mississauga, Ontario. Deliver client assessments, primary care, medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes care), rehabilitative programs, and palliative care. Role includes education and counselling to individuals and families, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and care delivered in clients' homes, clinics, and virtually; travel between client sites with PPE and adherence to full scope of practice. Requires valid RPN license in province, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, and a clear Criminal Records Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search/Child Abuse Registry checks as necessary). Must be physically capable of the duties (lifting, bending, standing, walking, stairs) and comfortable with PPE. Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice
- Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
