Job Summary
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including dietary staff, nurses, doctors, and therapists to assess new residents. Lead the PSW team in providing direct care, taking glucose readings during meals, and directing queue support. Distribute medication, monitor vitals, and communicate care plans with residents and their families. Update care plans biannually or upon condition changes and accurately chart treatments to ensure continuity. Work with the Home and Community Care association to support residents. Maintain current CNO registration, VSS check, and CPR/First Aid certification. Join a team dedicated to the physical and emotional well-being of seniors in our retirement villages.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
