Job Summary
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in seniors living communities. Provides care as part of a multidisciplinary team, leads the PSW team, performs glucose monitoring and medication administration, takes vitals, engages with residents and families about care plans, updates care plans every 6 months or with changes, documents care accurately, collaborates with Home and Community Care, and supports residents in a home-like setting. Requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, recent Vulnerable Sector Screening, and current CPR/First Aid certification. Required Qualifications
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Licensure or certification as RPN in Ontario
