Job Summary
In-home Registered Practical Nurse in the Greater Toronto Area providing skilled nursing care 1:1 in patient homes. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing tracheal suctioning, wound care and dressing changes, monitoring vital signs, chronic disease management, safety support, documentation of nursing notes, and collaboration with families and the interdisciplinary team to ensure client-focused care. Flexible hourly shifts with day/evening/weekend coverage; 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Current RPN license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum 1 year of experience, ideally in community, geriatrics, home care, or chronic care
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience with tracheal suctioning
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently
