Job Summary
Conduct patient care and monitoring on the Medicine unit, including physical assessments and IV administration. Maintain current BCLS certification and complete mandatory IV course updates within three months of hire. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills. Work flexible day, evening, and night shifts as per department schedule. Submit cover letter and resume via BambooHR by July 29, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Current BCLS certification
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
- Demonstrated Physical Assessment skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated lifelong learner
- Team player
- Satisfactory performance and attendance
- Satisfactory Reference Checks
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
