Job Summary
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) provides professional nursing care to residents in accordance with required medical care and professional nursing practice, collaborates with the RN, physicians, and health-care team, directs Personal Support Workers on the care team, participates in shift reports, and helps ensure residents’ care needs are met while adhering to relevant statutes and standards. The role supports geriatric/long-term care residents in a AgeCare residence, with opportunities for care planning, input on procedures, and contributing to a quality and compassionate care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and a member in good standing
