Job Summary
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist responsible for comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under supervision, performing sleep studies, calibrating equipment, administering tests, scoring polysomnographic data, and generating final reports. Duties include preparing and setting up testing procedures, applying electrodes/sensors, monitoring patients, assisting with home sleep testing education, maintaining safety and quality standards, complying with regulatory requirements, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Requires ability to operate sleep equipment, interpret data per AASM standards, document observations, and collaborate with the sleep center team. Shift is night-based, onsite at LVHN sleep center locations in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Successful completion of college level math and science coursework
- Demonstrates knowledge of sleep equipment hookup and monitoring
- Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and equipment used in sleep testing

- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 90 Days
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Instructor - State of Pennsylvania within 90 Days
