Registered Polysomnographic Tech (Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 7:45pm-6:15am)

Job Summary

Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot polysomnography equipment to ensure accurate recordings. Complete patient intake, orientation, and consent verification while applying sensors per AASM standards. Monitor patients throughout testing, recognize events, and intervene to support comfort and data quality. Review and score studies following data acquisition to ensure accurate records for provider interpretation. Support staff onboarding, training, and process improvement initiatives. This role reports to the Sleep Lab Manager and delivers compassionate care within a Level II trauma center serving Northwest Arkansas. Full-time Monday through Thursday, 7:45pm to 6:15am.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of A-STEP educational modules administered through the AASM
  • BLS
  • National sleep credential: RST, RPSGT, SDS, or CPSGT

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sleep lab, including in-center PSG and/or HSAT
  • Experience with patient education
  • PAP titration support
  • Accurate study scoring/documentation
