Job Summary

Perform and promote sleep disorders procedures ensuring quality and clarity of recording along with detailed documentation. Communicate pertinent information to the Sleep Lab Supervisor and/or physician as needed. Consistently provide safe and effective advanced patient care addressing age-specific variations related to clinical, educational, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Complete educational activities to maintain competency and facilitate collaboration with team members and departments. Maintain a clean and safe environment conducive to meeting regulatory standards while providing feedback to improve patient care. This full-time night shift role at Arkansas Children's Springdale Campus involves three 12-hour shifts from Thursday to Saturday, with night and weekend pay differentials applying.

Required Qualifications

  • Flu vaccine required
  • 2 years Polysomn Tech experience
  • Registration/license for Polysomn Technologist
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
  • 1 of the following certifications: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) - Arkansas State Medical Board, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Desired Qualifications

  • Respiratory - 2 years sleep laboratory performing polysomnograms
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) - Arkansas State Medical Board
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
