Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' needs using comprehensive physical examinations to develop personalized treatment plans, then implement individualized protocols aimed at improving movement, strength, and functionality. Facilitate therapeutic exercise sessions including specific stretching routines and functional activities, while educating patients on home pain management and body mechanics. Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to augment treatment, and document progress meticulously by monitoring strength gains and range of motion. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care for diverse populations recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, surgeries, and sports-related conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A current valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas
- In-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster meaningful patient relationships
- Strong organizational capabilities and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient physical therapy setting
- Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities and a background working with multidisciplinary teams
