Registered Pharmacy Technician - Saskatoon, SK (12 Month Contract)

Job Summary
Conduct technician-driven prescription checks, filling, and billing, while reporting adverse effects and events. Manage inventory by receiving orders and performing weekly counts, and contact doctors and programs to secure prescriptions. Communicate with program coordinators, insurers, and patients to resolve coverage issues and ensure clear interactions with all stakeholders. Respond promptly to stakeholder communications, monitor email accounts, and answer phones. Complete shift documentation including Post Infusion Feedback Reports, Incident Reports, and Product Quality Complaints per SOPs. Review new protocols regularly and maintain Cold Chain standards for biologics and specialty drugs. Work full-time, temporary (12 months) in Saskatoon, SK, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the province of Ontario
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook (Email), and Word
- Exemplary customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and our clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
