Job Summary

Manage the Intake, Adherence, Revenue, and Dispensing teams by performing routine and non-routine pharmacy functions, including insurance data entry, verifying benefits, documenting therapy adherence, processing prescriptions, and filling oral oncology medications. Coordinate inbound/outbound telephonic calls, emails, and internal communications while ensuring accurate documentation and resolving billing issues with insurance companies. Work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to expedite pharmacy services, maintain medication information, and support the Revenue Manager's financial operations.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence
  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness
  • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
