Job Summary
The role supports the pharmacy by aiding in prescription production and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include receiving prescriptions, gathering complete information, maintaining patient and drug files, verifying accuracy of products, preparing prescription labels, accounting and collections when needed, preparing and measuring medications, stock management, perpetual inventory maintenance, and ensuring privacy and confidentiality in interactions with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Registered pharmacy technician certification and maintained registration with appropriate pharmacy association
- Ability to implement practical procedures of systems which are moderately complex
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Respect for the confidential and individual rights of our customers
- Criminal background check required for candidates 18 years or older
