Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist; provides medications and IV solutions for patients, emphasizes customer relationships, and functions as a valued Team Member. Halifax Health offers a Pharmacy Technician training program for those not yet registered. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, registration through the State of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician or completion of the training program, and strong customer-service oriented communication and professionalism to interact with colleagues, physicians, and ancillary staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be Registered through the State of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician or complete available Pharmacy Technician training program
- Customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Team Members at all levels
- Professionalism in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel
