Job Summary
Registered Pharmacy Technician to assist with dispensing activities (prescription checks, filling, billing), inventory management, and coordinating with doctors, insurers, and program coordinators. Responsibilities include communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and payers; ensuring documentation such as adverse event and product quality reports; maintaining Cold Chain standards for biologics and specialty drugs; and contributing to a compliant, patient-centered workflow. Requires post-secondary education or equivalent experience and current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Ontario; proficiency in MS Excel/Outlook/Word; strong communication and customer-service skills; ability to work autonomously within a remote team; English proficiency (French bilingualism encouraged for Quebec); Halifax, NS, on-site full-time position for a 6-month temporary assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the province of Ontario
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team
- English proficiency required; bilingualism French-English for Quebec role
