Job Summary
Registered Pharmacist role in a Hy-Vee retail setting requiring night and weekend shifts. Primary duties include filling/verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, maintaining inventory (including controlled substances), enforcing OBRA ’90 regulations, and delivering friendly, customer-focused service. The position involves supporting pharmacy operations, coaching staff, promoting wellness programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Quality Assurance). Eligible candidates should have a college degree and a pharmacy license, with immunization administration capability and MTM experience preferred. Must be prepared to work in a fast-paced store environment with daily interaction with customers and collaboration with multiple departments.
Required Qualifications
- College degree and licensure in pharmacy
- Six months to a year of similar or related work experience
- Ability to administer immunizations
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
