Registered Pharmacist

Registered Pharmacist needed to fill prescriptions, counsel patients, support inventory of the pharmacy, and provide customer-focused service in a fast retail setting. Responsibilities include filling and verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, supporting controlled substance inventory, assisting with ordering and merchandising OTCs, and participating in education/training of staff. Emphasis on OBRA ’90 compliance, HIPAA confidentiality, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), immunizations, and maintaining pharmacy operations such as reconciliation of third-party accounts and adherence to quality and regulatory procedures. Requires college degree and licensure in pharmacy, continuing education to maintain license, and 6–12 months of related experience. Strong arithmetic, communication, and customer-service skills, with ability to work in a high-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. The position involves exposure to hazardous drugs and demands physical ability to perform typical pharmacy duties within a retail store setting.
