Job Summary
Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Hy-Vee Pharmacy, fills and verifies prescriptions, counsels patients per OBRA ’90, assists with controlled substance inventory, and participates in MTM and wellness programs. Supports inventory management, regulatory procedures, and staff training; engages with customers to enhance the shopping and healthcare experience; may visit schools/doctors’ offices to market services; ensures HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and maintains professional appearance. Strong emphasis on problem solving, arithmetic, communication, and teamwork to maintain accurate pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional License/Certification Required
- College degree and licensure in pharmacy
- Six months to a year of similar or related work experience
- Ability to administer immunizations
