Job Summary
Coordinate and participate in administering respiratory therapy modalities to patients of all ages. Assess patient data and provide care according to departmental policies. A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is desired, with preference for experience with diverse patient age groups. Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program and possess relevant credentials including a Registered Respiratory Therapist certification and current Virginia state license.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential granted by the NBRC
- Current Virginia state license to practice Respiratory Care
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- ACCS certification from the NBRC
- NPS certification from the NBRC
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
