Job Summary
Performs direct patient care in respiratory care per physician orders and consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care and performs duties as assigned. Includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for Mercy Washington RTs and loan-forgiveness support up to $20,000 lifetime, with loan repayment assistance for 32+ hour per pay period. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, Missouri licensure for Respiratory Care, NBRC registration, and BLS/CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
- BLS/CPR from American Heart Association
- Successful completion of program approved by NBRC
