Job Summary
As an OT at Life Care Centers of America, provide direct occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral within a skilled nursing/sub-acute rehabilitation setting. Follow established treatment plans, establish and modify functional goals, and oversee care provided by OTAs and Rehab Aides. Chart promptly and accurately, utilize therapy software, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team. Collaborate to ensure patient rights, safety, and quality of care while supporting functional progress and quality of life. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, and current CPR. Strong computer skills (Word/Excel) and adherence to company policies and confidentiality are essential. Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain active license in good standing
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
