Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in post-acute settings. Follow established OT treatment plans to assess and modify goals, oversee care provided by OTAs and Rehab Aides, and ensure accurate charting. Utilize therapy software and maintain excellent customer service while collaborating on an interdisciplinary team. Maintain patient rights, safety and sanitation, confidentiality, and compliance with policies. Requires NBCOT certification on hire, active state licensure, and CPR certification; new grads welcome. Eligible to participate in community health projects as appropriate; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; strong body mechanics and independent decision-making. Physical duties include sitting, standing, lifting, and moving during shifts; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Active state licensure in good standing
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation, and must remain current)
