Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral, following established Life Care standards. Responsibilities include following and modifying occupational treatment plans to establish realistic, measurable goals; supervising and evaluating care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students; accurate charting and timely documentation; utilizing therapy software; delivering excellent customer service; and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to policies. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; CPR certification preferred upon hire or during orientation; 1 year of experience preferred, with new grads welcome.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- Active license in good standing throughout employment
