Job Summary
The OT provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral, following Life Care standards and applicable laws. Must hold NBCOT certification upon hire, with an active state license, and have completed an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT). Responsibilities include establishing realistic goals, following treatment plans, supervising OTAs and Rehab Aides, documenting care using therapy software, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring patient rights, safety, and confidentiality. The role emphasizes professional conduct, continuity of care, and compliance training, with opportunities for advancement within the department and organization.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment
