Job Summary
OT - Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards. Follows established treatment plans; Oversees OTAs/Rehab Aides and students; Maintains charting and uses therapy software; Demonstrates strong customer service and collaboration on an interdisciplinary team; Supports patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; Requires active licensure and NBCOT certification with CPR and ongoing professional development. The role includes involvement in community health projects, adherence to policies, and active participation in program goals and compliance with regulations. The position is part of Life Care’s post-acute care facility network with opportunities for career advancement and a relocation package.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire (renewal optional)
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Current state license or eligibility with active license in good standing
- CPR certification at hire or during orientation (must remain current)
- One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
