Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)

Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) delivers direct rehab care in occupational therapy per physician referral, adhering to Life Care standards and all applicable laws. Requires BSOT or MSOT, NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, and CPR certification. New grads welcome; one year experience preferred. Responsibilities include following treatment plans for patients (ADLs), establishing and modifying goals, supervising OTAs/Rehab Aides/students, documenting in therapy software, providing excellent patient service, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to policies on confidentiality and conduct. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email, and participation in community health projects as appropriate. Must maintain safety, professional relationships, and ongoing licensure, and demonstrate good body mechanics and independent decision-making.
