Job Summary
OT - Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral in accordance with applicable laws and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, establishing and modifying goals, overseeing and evaluating care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students, charting timely, and using therapy software. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, graduation from an OT program (BSOT or MSOT), and active licensure in the state; CPR certification required. 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome. Qualities include excellent customer service, ability to work on an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to company policies and confidentiality. Location: Payson, AZ with in-house rehab programs and opportunities for career advancement; Life Care Center network and benefits package described.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Follow treatment plans for patients; establish/modify goals
- Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs and Rehab Aides
- Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software
- Excellent customer service; teamwork in interdisciplinary settings
- Must maintain body mechanics; safety and sanitation compliance
- Understand and follow Life Care policies; Code of Conduct and compliance training
