Job Summary
Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in a post-acute care facility. Follow occupational treatment plans for patients and establish, assess, and modify goals. Oversee OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students; chart appropriately and timely; utilize therapy software; demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication within an interdisciplinary team. Maintain patient rights, safety, confidentiality, and professional standards; adhere to policies and code of conduct. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, licensed in state, BSOT or MSOT, CPR upon hire, and prefers one year of experience though new grads are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
