Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living); establish, assess, and modify goals; oversee care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students; chart appropriately and timely; utilize therapy software; provide excellent customer service; assist in evacuation of patients; maintain regular attendance; communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team; maintain confidentiality; adhere to policies and compliance training; demonstrate good body mechanics; read/write/speak English; perform duties in a post-acute care setting; Life Care standards and regulatory compliance. Essential functions include evaluating care, documenting progress, and coordinating with vendors and colleagues to meet patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates independence in decision-making
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, guidelines governing post-acute care facility
- Ability to implement and interpret department programs
- Excellent communication and confidentiality
- Code of Conduct compliance
