Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehab care in a post-acute care setting under physician referral. Responsible for following treatment plans for patients, establishing, assessing, and modifying measurable goals, supervising OTAs and Rehab Aides, accurate charting and timely documentation, and using therapy software. Must be NBCOT-certified upon hire with an active state license and CPR certification (maintained during employment). Minimum one year experience preferred though new graduates are welcome. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, adherence to policies and compliance training, and maintaining professional conduct. Location: Chandler, AZ; full-time daytime shift; Life Care Centers environment with benefits including sign-on bonus, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Active license in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates knowledge of post-acute care facilities policies and procedures
- Ability to establish and modify goals; supervise OTAs and Rehab Aides
- Excellent customer service and teamwork
