Job Summary
Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct OT rehab care to patients upon physician referral in a post-acute care setting. Works within an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve functional goals, using established OT plans, supervising OTAs and aides, documenting appropriately, and maintaining professional standards. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire and active state licensure; CPR upon hire; proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; strong communication with patients, families, and departments; capacity to assess, plan, implement, and adjust therapy programs; emphasis on patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with Life Care policies. Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Current active license in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
