Job Summary
OT - Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in a post-acute skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities include following OT treatment plans, establishing, assessing, and modifying realistic goals; overseeing care provided by OTAs and Rehab Aides; timely charting; utilizing therapy software; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to plan for patient needs; maintaining patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; and contributing to a patient-centered environment that supports functional progress and quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- One year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
