Job Summary
Occupational Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care in a post-acute care setting, following treatment plans, establishing and modifying goals, supervising OTAs and rehab aides, documenting in therapy software, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, CPR certification, and completion of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT); 1 year experience preferred with new grads welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email is required; strong understanding of patient rights, confidentiality, and compliance with Life Care policies is essential.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
