Registered Nursing Instructor – ICU or Med Surg and One Additional Specialty Preferred

Part-time RN Instructor at EVIT teaching adult nursing with preference for candidates with ICU or Med Surg experience plus an additional specialty (e.g., OB, Peds, Mental Health). The role involves delivering instruction in classroom and laboratory settings as well as at clinical sites, fostering patient-centered care, health promotion, disease prevention, clinical skills, and interprofessional collaboration. Responsibilities include developing and updating the nursing curriculum, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and accreditation standards, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and institutional policies while supporting student professionalism and critical thinking. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Nursing, 2 years of RN direct patient care, current Arizona RN licensure (or multi-state privilege), CPR/BLS certification, Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, immunizations/titers, negative PPD or chest X-ray, and a negative 10-panel drug screen within 48 hours of offer. The position is 20 hours per week over a 12-month calendar and offers ASRS participation with employer matching retirement contributions.
